This notice explains how Rapple Products (Pty) Ltd ("Rapple", "we") handles your personal information when you use the Rapple Furniture website, send us a quote request or buy from us. It follows the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

To prepare and send you a quote, reply to you, take and deliver your order, invoice you, give you guarantee and after-sales service, and keep the records the law requires. We only use your details for these purposes. We do not sell your personal information.
Giving us your details is voluntary. If you do not give your name, email address and the items you want, we cannot prepare a quote. If you do not give a delivery address, we cannot deliver.
Our staff who deal with quotes, orders and delivery. We share only what is needed with companies that help us serve you, such as the carrier that delivers your order, our payment provider, the supplier who makes or supplies the item, and the companies that host our website and email. These companies may process information outside South Africa. We ask them to protect it to the standard POPIA requires. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
We do not send you marketing by email or message unless you have asked us to or have given us your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. To keep your basket and quote list while you browse, the website saves them in your browser (local storage) on your own device. They are not sent to us until you submit a quote request. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time.
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business, tax and sales records. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, damage and unauthorised access. Quote requests are stored privately and are only visible to our staff.
You may ask us to confirm whether we hold information about you and to give you a copy, to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, out of date or no longer needed, and you may object to us processing your information. Send your request to orders@rapple.co.za. We will respond within a reasonable time.
